A perfect day to get hitched in Gunnison, Colorado.
September of 2016 was a wedding to remember at Waunita Hot Springs Ranch in Gunnison, Colorado.
Working with the bride and her beautiful venue, it was a day to remember this sunny day on the ranch. This Colorado based wedding was dressed with country-rustic touches like wooden tables in ivory table cloths, sliced tree table centerpieces, a wooden-cake and cupcake holder, and even hay bales for their guests to sit on.
We coordinated a beautiful Mother-Son First-Look on the backside of a valley where her two sons met her with a warm embrace, and many tears. Following this, the party soon began where the groom walked down the aisle to wait to hear the song “Perfect by- Ed Sheeran” which meant his bride would be walking down the aisle accompanied by her two sons.
Little did the bride know, that we had secretly planned a surprise for her during the ceremony, her youngest song would marry them and switch out the officiant. It was an emotional and joyous moment.
The Colorado ceremony was topped with a sand unity gathering representing two families coming together followed by a wedding bell send off to the reception.
After speeches, we moved guests to the barnhouse where the wedding would have dancing and drinks. The image below captures the first dance of the newly proclaimed “Mr. & Mrs. Holtz”. It truly was a perfect day and we were honored at Event Planning Colorado to be apart of it.
